1. Overview

Synthoriq is committed to privacy and data minimization. We collect only what is strictly necessary to communicate with you about potential engineering engagements and to ensure our website operates reliably.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information directly when you choose to submit our contact form:

  • Name and work email address.
  • Company name and project details you provide in the message.
  • Submission timestamp for rate limiting and spam protection.

3. How We Use Information

Information you submit through the contact form is used solely to evaluate your inquiry, reply to you with technical feedback, and conduct direct business communications. We do not sell personal data or enroll you in unsolicited marketing sequences.

4. Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and which links are used. It is loaded only if you accept it on the cookie banner. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics script is requested and no analytics cookies are set.

If you accept, Google Analytics:

  • Sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<property>, which expire two years after they are set. They hold a randomly generated identifier for your browser.
  • Records the pages you visit, the site or search that referred you, your approximate location, and your device and browser type.
  • Records a small set of events we define: which call-to-action was clicked and where it sat on the page, and whether the contact form was started, submitted, or failed.

No form field values are ever sent to analytics. Not your message, your email address, your company name, or your budget selection — and not a hash of any of them. What you submit goes to our inbox and nowhere else. We also strip query strings from the page addresses we record, so anything carried in a link you followed stays out of the analytics data.

Google processes this data on infrastructure in the United States and other countries, and retains event-level data for the period configured on our property, up to Google’s maximum of 14 months. Google does not store your IP address in Google Analytics; it is used in transit to derive an approximate location and then discarded.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Declining after having accepted also deletes the analytics cookies already on your device.

5. Data Retention & Processors

Contact inquiries are retained for the duration of the commercial evaluation and active engagement, or until you request deletion. Our site is hosted on modern cloud infrastructure (Vercel) adhering to strict data protection standards. Our two processors are Vercel, for hosting, and Google, for the analytics described above.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection legislation (including GDPR / UK GDPR), you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data stored with us.

7. Accessibility Commitment

Synthoriq targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards. We support full keyboard navigation, screen readers, and respected system reduced-motion preferences across all routes.
